The club property consists of 200 pristine acres designed and tailored by owner Brian V. Klug especially for upland pheasant open field hunting. The property is surrounded by thousands of county and state owned forest land consisting of Pine and Oak trees. Brian built two ponds in the middle of the property which now attracts many species of wildlife rarely seen on Long Island, New York. Aside from upland bird hunting, one can witness the sighting of wild turkey, hawks, fox, songbirds, and many other species of wildlife in their natural habitat.

In the year 2000, Brian Klug purchased an absolutely run down farm and reconditioned the soils, restored large eroded areas, and cleaned up hideous heaps of garbage, all created by past farming practices. Then he planted indigenous species of Long Island grasses, underbrush, and evergreens, restoring the environment back to its natural beauty and viability to animal habitat..

Some of the resources grown are harvested as agricultural products as well as for hunting. The fact remains that with all its natural beauty and what Hunter’s Garden has to offer will bring you back to pre-1950’s old fashioned hunting that will give you lasting memories.
